“The Wembley Store” is a pillar in Valletta, strategically located at the entrance to busiest part of Republic Street. Established in 1924, the store has a huge heritage behind it and has become a land mark in its own right. Unfortunately, throughout the years, the store has lost its distinct heritage character. The brief was to restore the entire building façade, as well the interior of the store to its original rustic state.
